A Brief Journey Thumbnails
It all started way back in early 1980 when I was in school
and lerned about Canyon specially Grand Canyon in geography
class in Sixth Grade. But never dreamed to capture it in my own eyes and to put them in web.
Anyway !! it all happened summer of 99, first long weekend. Me and Mandal started from San Jose towards to CalTech,
Pasadena to meet some friend. It was a first long drive on highway for me, we reached LA on time . Sourabh and Bera reached there
by flight and we started working towards to make the trip.
Next morning we started the trip with Saubhik driving all the way to Canyon.We were there for sun set but not early eanough to cap
ture it in frame. A sleepless night in a Desi motel of Williams but we made a good effort to capture the sunrise.
We got the nice sun rise to capture. The helicopter ride was really worth it. And then IMAX was really a good source to see Canyon
in a new way.
And from there I started driving towards to Hoover-Dam.
And I am planning to make a trip for 3/4 days this year some time with some hiking and camping.
